Once you complete your first award, you will have the chance to progress onto more specialised awards, some of which may lead to a formal qualification!
What you do:
To complete an award, you take part in sports activities through the qualification framework, developing leadership skills and knowledge that can be applied to sports and general life. There are no exams, as your learning is practically assessed - you will be able to directly apply your leadership skills on the field or in the gym.
Why do it:
The sports leadership awards are a fantastic opportunity to gain new leadership skills through activities that you might already be taking part in. You can combine learning with being active and staying fit. The skills you will develop are very much hands-on and will be transferable to school and work.
