Summary:
The Girls’ Brigade provides meeting groups for girls where they take part in fun activities and serve their community.

“The Girls’ Brigade’s aim is to see Girls’ lives transformed; God’s world enriched and key to this is enabling all our members to develop their skills, explore Christian faith, make friends for life and encounter the hope offered by engaging with God’s offer for us to experience ‘life to the full’.”

You can train to become a youth leader with your local company – gaining skills and knowledge along the way.
What you do:
The Girls’ Brigade offers a range of activities including outdoor pursuits, volunteering, leadership training, creative projects and exploration of faith. Girls work towards their Queen’s Award, which is made up of 7 sections:

Why do it:
The Girls’ Brigade offers a chance for you to develop as an individual and a leader, preparing you for adult life both in terms of home and work. You will also be able to complete other awards like the DofE as part of the programme, all while having fun with your friends!
